Bank of England
We were delighted to be voted as one of the Bank of England’s charity partners in 2019/2020.
Together we created a partnership that took on pancreatic cancer on all fronts. Staff from across the Bank came together in the most difficult of times during 2020 to raise vital funds for pancreatic cancer research and support. We are so grateful for how they adapted throughout the year to take on challenges, organise quiz nights and take part in seasonal fundraising during their Festive Fortnight in December 2019, at the start of the partnership.
This partnership enabled Pancreatic Cancer UK to increase the profile of the disease, speak to new audiences and raise awareness of our expert support and information services.
In April 2020 we were delighted to also receive a donation of £47,000 from the auction of the new £20 note.
Every penny of the £126,000 raised from this partnership will be invested into early diagnosis research, awareness and campaigning. Which has the potential to improve thousands of lives each year and improve survival rates.
