Jeni Jones
Specialist Pancreatic Cancer Nurse, Pancreatic Cancer UK:
Jeni has been nursing for 32 years and has spent the past seventeen years working in cancer care, including the care of people with pancreatic cancer. She has worked in the areas of chemotherapy, palliative care and clinical trials and is experienced in providing support to patients, families, and friends.
Dr Yvonne Cartwright
Consultant in Palliative Medicine, Addenbrookes Hospital:
Yvonne is consultant in palliative medicine at Addenbrookes Hospital. She studied medicine at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine and completed junior doctor training in Cumbria, Bedfordshire, the West Midlands and London before starting specialist training in palliative medicine in East Anglia. Yvonne was appointed to a substantive consultant post at Addenbrooke’s in 2014. She works with nurses, junior and senior doctors, psychologists and other allied health professionals to improve the symptoms experienced by adults with life-limiting illnesses. She contributes to medical student and junior doctor education within Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Yvonne is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and member of the Association of Palliative Medicine.
