Support for your patients

With your help, we can ensure everyone with pancreatic cancer knows how we can support them.

Do you support people with pancreatic cancer? Here are some of the ways we can help them, together.

The additional support we can provide to patients and their families complements the dedicated care you provide, and means that together we can improve their quality of life. With your help, we can ensure everyone knows about our services as soon as they are diagnosed.

Information & support emails

If you are supporting someone who has recently been diagnosed, our emails can help them get the information and support they need, tailored to their diagnosis. Over a few weeks, we send out clear, practical information, covering some of the key things people have told us that they want to understand most, signposting additional support that’s available.

Specialist nurse support

We know that people affected by pancreatic cancer value the support they get from their health team, but sometimes they have additional questions or just want to talk for a bit longer about how they are feeling.

Our specialist nurses can provide this extra support. They are experts in pancreatic cancer and can talk for as long as people need, as often as they like.

With over 150 years of nursing experience between them, you can be confident in encouraging your patients to get in touch with any questions by calling free on 0808 801 0707 or emailing nurse@pancreaticcancer.org.uk.

Circles - Community Groups

This new support service will allow people affected by pancreatic cancer to connect via groups (such as WhatsApp and Facebook). A space to share with others going through a similar experience, those who will understand and ‘just get it’. If this is something your patients would be interested in joining, please share the link.

Real life stories

We understand how lonely it can feel living with pancreatic cancer. Connecting with our community could help, whether your patients and their loved ones want to read other people's stories or tell their own.  Because no one understands the experience of pancreatic cancer quite like this community.
