Support for you
You don’t have to face pancreatic cancer alone. A diagnosis can be a terrible shock, but we are here to help you make sense of it and guide and support you and your family at every step that follows.
This new support service will allow you to connect with others currently affected by pancreatic cancer via groups (such as WhatsApp and Facebook groups).
Share the highs, the lows and everything in between with people who understand, who ‘just get it’.
We have groups covering various topics, such as cookery and recipe sharing, as well as groups for those living with pancreatic cancer, groups for family, friends and carers and groups for those who are having or who have had surgery. We are looking to add more groups in the future, so if there is something you would like to see, please get in contact.
Please note that we will not be able to add new members to groups over the festive break – 20th December to the 6th January.
"I've learned alot of useful information from others and have been able to reciprocate. Its a mutually supportive community."
We would love to have you join the community! Before we can add you to any groups, you need to confirm that:
If you don’t meet the joining criteria stated above, we’ll be unable to add you to the WhatsApp/Facebook Group/s. That doesn’t mean we can’t support you, please click here for further information and other support options.
Over the last year, we have been speaking to people within the community about the needs of people affected by pancreatic cancer and how we can meet those needs to support even more people.
We heard from many of you about the desire to connect with others going through a similar experience, those who will understand and ‘just get it’. As a result, we’ve created Circles, a service that will allow people affected by pancreatic cancer to connect via groups (such as WhatsApp and Facebook groups).
Thanks to all of you who have shared your experience, this insight has helped us explore the best ways we can provide support. Watch this space for other services we’ll be trialling.
